These terms set out the conditions on which we provide wherekitty.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. They are written to comply with the Polish Act on the Provision of Electronic Services of 18 July 2002 (Ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną) and the general provisions of the Polish Civil Code.
wherekitty.com is a free, informational, non-commercial website that shows an interactive map of cities with notable free-roaming cat populations. Each city has a short description, an approximate score, and photos used under their original licenses. There is no user account, no sign-up, no forum, and no transaction.
The site is a static website that works in any modern web browser (released within the last three years) with JavaScript enabled and a standard internet connection. We do not commit to supporting older browsers or assistive setups beyond reasonable effort.
City descriptions, scores, and tips are compiled from public sources (Wikipedia, municipal data, news articles, travel writing) and our own judgement. Cats move, municipalities change policies, and data ages. We make our best effort to keep the information useful, but we give no warranty that it is current, complete, or accurate. You should verify anything that matters (for example, whether a specific neighbourhood, café, or shelter is still there) before making plans around it.
Every photo on the site is shown with its licence, photographer, and source (where required). A full list is available at /credits.html. Photos remain the property of their respective authors and are used under the terms of their licences, most commonly CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC0, Public Domain, or the Pexels licence.
If you are the author of a photo and believe it is used in breach of the licence, or you want it removed, write to hello@wherekitty.com. We will act promptly (usually within 7 days).

We provide the site "as is". To the extent permitted by Polish law, we are not liable for loss, damage, missed plans, inconvenience, or any other harm that results from your use of the site — for example a neighbourhood that has changed, a cat that bit you, a café that has closed, or a travel plan that did not work out. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by mandatory law (for example, liability for intentional damage).
If something about the service does not work or you believe your rights have been breached, please write to hello@wherekitty.com with a short description of the issue, the date, and — if relevant — a URL or screenshot. We will respond within 14 days. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also use the ODR platform of the European Commission for out-of-court dispute resolution.

We may update these terms as the project evolves. The "last updated" date above is the authoritative version. Changes that restrict your rights will be announced on the homepage for a reasonable period before they take effect.
These terms are governed by Polish law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be decided by the court having jurisdiction over the seat of the service provider (Skąpe, Poland), except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in a different forum.
